Azita Ghanizada

Azita was born in Kabul in Afghanistan. The woman is Afghan American who lives in the United States. She is an American actor from Afghanistan that was raised in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing the country she was born in the family relocated to in the US. She was given asylum in the US and permitted to stay. Her parents raised her two sisters in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her career in the television industry by appearing on numerous National Commercials. Ghanizada's performance as Chiara in Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara earned her a nomination for Best Actress at a film festival. She appeared as a guest star in several television shows, like How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych & Castle. Recent roles included the sci-fi action film Blood Shot (2009) and the comedies that are independent You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was first seen in General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. Season 2 of Night Shift saw Ghanizada as the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra, a doctor who specializes in holistic medicine.
